Weller Ranch

is located on the plains of Western SD, in the heart of ranch country on the edge of the rugged Badlands. We run registered and commercial black and red angus cattle and hold the Weller Ranch Angus Cattle Production Sale in the late fall each year selling two-year old Angus bulls and bred heifers. We maintain a herd of registered Quarter Horse mares. We use horses in every day functions of the ranch: calving, branding, doctoring, checking pastures, moving, sorting and shipping cattle to market.

We host two horse sales each year: Weller Ranch Spring Spectacular Saddle Horse Sale, held at SD's premiere equine center, Seven Down Arena, Spearfish, SD and the Weller Ranch Annual Invitational Gelding & Production sale in August and held at our hometown Kadoka Rode Grounds. We have a group of elite ranch geldings that will be offered from our ranch and invited guests. We also will offer our entire foal crop in the August sale.

Bill & Carrie Weller, and their boys, Gage and Tagg, welcome you to stop by the ranch anytime - the ranch is right off I-90 and easy to find.
