The senior sire standing at the ranch is Sierras Notion, a gray son of World Champion, Sierra Te by Te N‘ Te, out of Reserve World Champion, Nasty Notions who is a granddaughter of Clabber Bar and Jimmy Mac Bee. We recently acquired a gray son of Real Gun, 2004 AQHA World Show Superhorse, to cross on our Sierras Notion daughters. Seven S Barney is out of a Leo granddaughter. The broodmares are solid made and solid minded. Bloodlines carried in the mares are Quincy Dan, Leo, Joe Reed II, Sonny Dee Bar, Two Eyed Jack, Jackie Bee, King Fritz, Hollywood Dun It, Missle Bar, Robert Redford, Big Step, Kissin Cousins: vintage bloodlines from a time when pretty could perform. We appreciate a versatile gelding that is as easy to look at as he is to ride and use. Our goal is to raise a ranch gelding that has a sound, trainable mind, friendly disposition, is gentle, and made well with a good wither and hip and is eye appealing: a horse that can go to the arena, the trails, the show pen, or the backyard horse enthusiast.
